THIS 933 CARRERA 4
Originally supplied by Porsche Paris, France and registered on 8th Octobre 1996, this Porsche has stayed in France until today! The car has been lovingly cared for by its owners and the last owner owned and drove the car for almost 10 years. He and previous caretakers meticulously kept all service books, manuals, keys; key card and key pouch as well as technical inspections and of course a lot of invoices. The car is clad in the optional Porsche Exclusive shade of Iris Blue over Blue leather with matching carpets, it represents a beautifully documented and well specified example of Porsche’s last air-cooled model.
As can be expected for a higher mileage example, the car has had a full respray. Today; the entire external bodywork emits a deep glossy shine overall with all glass and lenses remaining clear and free from any cracks or crazing. Despite the higher mileage, only lighter signs of use can be seen on the interior; a testimony to the car's careful owners and the quality of these fine cars. The seats, door cards, switches, door cappings, dashboard and headlining are totally unmarked. Carpets and mats also remain in fine order.
Having been used as intended by the current owner, this 993 Carrera 4 has had a lot of work done over the recent years and most of it was performed by Porsche; including tires, suspension and an even engine rebuild!
A 993 is one of the best ever Porsche 911’s produced, and even by today standards, certainly no slouch! Being an early European manual gearbox car, this car has the rare and beloved G64/21 short ratio gearbox, offering a 0-100km/h in 5.6 seconds instead of 6.6 seconds!
Today the car shows incredibly well and one would believe it had 100.000km on the odo! Complete with its original books, manuals, tools, jack, tire inflation pump, both sets of keys and a heap of receipts documenting its service history, this classic 993 C4 is surely one not to be missed and well worth extra consideration.
A fantastic classic Porsche which is very easy to live and drive with everyday and very much 'en vogue' these days.

THE PORSCHE 993
An important landmark in the Porsche 911's continuing development arrived for 1994 with introduction of the Type 993, destined to be the last to use the air-cooled engine that had been a distinguishing feature of the 911 since its introduction 30 years previously. Over the years the 911 had received numerous aerodynamic and safety-inspired add-ons, diluting the purity of the original form; the Type 993's arrival marked a return to basic principles, being recognizably a 911 but one in which all functions had been harmoniously integrated in a truly outstanding example of modern automotive styling. A Cabriolet and Coupe version was offered, all powered by the latest 3.6-litre version of Porsche's perennial flat-six engine. The Type 993 is today regarded as a highly collectible classic.
