This 1965 Porsche 911 was delivered new to P.C. Pacific of Burlingame, California and was first owned in Reno, Nevada. Originally finished in Polo red over black leatherette, this early 911 was last registered as a non-operative vehicle in California in 1985 and was moved to Arizona by a previous owner. Gray primer now covers the exterior, and photos in the gallery show the condition of the interior and underside. The car came to Europe in 2019.
This is a very original early 911 from 1965 (MY 1966) with a lot of original parts and panels. Including Solex carburettors, original fenders front and back, original engine cover, original SWB engine grill, early shock towers, '64-'65 washer fluid, early wiring harness,... Retained trim pieces include headlamps, front bumper guards, horn grills, turn signals, and early 911 script on the engine lid.
Car comes with a lot of parts and a correct (aluminum case with Pierburg pump & Solex), non running engine without engine number. It is a an original unstamped - and probably unused - 1965 engine.
Gearbox is a later 5-speed 912 type - according to the number.
