The 991-generation Porsche 911 Speedster was first seen as a concept in 2018, intended to mark the company’s 70th anniversary. By 2019 it had become a highly desirable production reality, with 1,948 examples created to mark the year that Ferry Porsche oversaw creation of the first 356.

Pairing a GT3-sourced 4.0-litre flat-six engine with a six-speed manual transaxle in a Cabriolet body, the 911 Speedster delivered exceptional performance, selling out immediately and winning instant acclaim as the ultimate type-991 model.

Essentially a 911 GT3 with its roof cut off, the 991-generation 911 Speedster features extensive use of carbon fiber for the front trunk lid, front fenders, doors, engine cover, and interior trim. It also retains the iconic raked-and-shortened windshield which is the true calling card of the Speedster. Power is derived from a 4.0-liter flat six-cylinder engine rated at 502 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission with rev-matching capability is standard, as are the formidable carbon-ceramic disc brakes with their enormous yellow calipers.

This well-presented example is finished in classic GT Silver with a black top, complemented by 20-inch silver wheels and a black leather interior with contrasting stitching. Many desirable factory upgrades enhance its appeal, including the front-axle lift system, Chrono package, an extended-range fuel tank, cruise control, and LED headlights in black with the Porsche Dynamic Light System.
