This 911 2.2T Targa was first registered in September 1971. The car started its career in the United States and was imported to Belgium in 1992 where it was driven during the following years. The current owner bought the car in 2012 and is a true Porsche lover and along the way he invested in the car. Among other things, the brakes were overhauled and the master cylinder was replaced in the process. In 2019 the car was also fitted with new PMO carburetors. The 4 tires were also renewed at that time.
In early 2022, the bodywork was thoroughly overhauled and brought back to perfection. A number of panels were also replaced and renewed; such as the bumpers, trunk lids and hood. The car was completely disassembled and repainted in black. Of course, the necessary seals and rubbers were also replaced.
During the works, other details were also addressed and the interior got new carpets and new door panels & bins were made and mounted.
All important points were therefore already addressed! No expense was spared to maintain the car carefully, with of course the necessary invoices.
Since he arrived on Belgian soil, 11,000km was added to the odometer. Its paint still looks like new. During his time in Belgium, the car was also optimized in terms of mechanics and bodywork. We also see hydraulic chain tensioners.
