While the 2.7 Carrera RS is probably the first car to come to mind when enthusiasts think about classic racing 911s, the 911R was the hardcore, lightweight 911 in '67-68, of which 23 cars were actually built. This a tribute to this magnificent car, based on a short wheel based '68 911.
The rust free and perfectly straight chassis is still powered by its original and thus matching engine and gearbox. The gearbox was revised completely and equipped with a new Powerlite lightweight startermotor. The engine is maintained to the highest level and an electronic ignition was recently installed together with an 75amp alternator.
The suspension was revised as well and equipped with Koni shocks. Inside you'll find the mechanical Brantz S2 and Blunic II navigator.
Recently, the headlights and bulbs were all renewed and finished with LED lights. The lightweight fuel tank was pressurized, revised and protected with a new layer of paint.
