This 1986 Mercedes-Benz 500 SL was delivered new in Belgium and has remained with its first and only owner ever since. A true single-owner car, used and carefully maintained throughout its life — something rarely seen today.

Built to full European specification, this 500 SL features the slimmer Euro bumpers and correct European lighting, giving it the clean and elegant look the R107 is known for. Power comes from the original 5.0-litre V8, offering smooth, effortless performance paired with Mercedes’ renowned build quality.

The car was ordered new in Anthracite Grey Metallic over Grey leather, a timeless and understated colour combination that still presents very well today. The paintwork is partially original and retains a nice depth and shine. The interior shows minimal wear and remains clean, correct, and inviting.

When ordered new, the first owner selected a well-balanced option list focused on comfort and usability, including automatic climate control, Tempomat (cruise control), heated mirrors, limited-slip differential and insulated glass. Both the original hardtop and black soft top are present.

This 500 SL comes with a documented service history, original manuals, service book (Wartungsheft), a car cover and supporting documentation, underlining its careful ownership and mechanical integrity. Even the original invoice from 1986 is still available!
